Because Magazine!

 

I have recently discovered this amazing online magazine and have literally fell in LOVE with it! The best thing about 'Because Magazine' is that it includes some fab videos (you just have to see them) that are completely FUN and experimental! The magazine also displays a selection of the latest fashion news, current trends and interviews with different individuals. Because London Mag is also available to follow on Twitter, Instagram and Vine!

New Brand - Hanger!

 

During the last 3 weeks I have been interning for London based designer - Claire Davis, who has recently released her first S/S collection.

 

The brand was created by the graduate designer in 2013 and the designs are focused on the juxtaposition of both organic and synthetic fabrics. The white collection is far from ordinary, with every fabric being thoroughly considered (take a closer look to realise the detail to some of the transparent materials).

At university I am currently looking at fashion film, whilst researching film and designers this is one of my favourite's I've found so far! My group of 4 have been currently focusing on footwear for our final idea and the shoes in this film by Charlene Ong are incredible!

New Home!

I haven't blogged the last week or so due to being extremely busy! I've just moved in to my new home in London to start my second year of university, so i've been settling in and it's been very chaotic. I have also just started interning for a new designer so i;ve been getting the hang of that too!

Above are just a couple of photos that i took of my new room, it's extremely girly and is full of photographs of friends and family! The heart fairy lights are from Next and the cake stand is from the range.

Bing Bang Rings!

 

I posted a blog post a few months ago of some rings that I had just purchased from #BingBangNYC but never followed it up with images once they had arrived!

 

I've been wearing these rings ever since they arrived packaged in a small black pocket box and bubble wrap. The quality of them has really surprised me as they are still both in great condition, they haven't discoloured and still look brand new even after I've worn them continuously!

DARK PARADISE VINTAGE

 

I've just returned from V festival this weekend and I couldn't help but love how much a flower crown can disguise your bad hair days! Unfortunately this flower headband I ordered didn't come in time for V but I have fallen in love with the size of it - it's massive! I love back combing my hair and making it big so I need bigger hair accessories for them to stand out in my hair! It's white but has a tint of green which makes it more realistic and unique.

 

This flower crown is from ASOS Marketplace in the 'Dark Paradise Vintage' boutique and is priced at 14.99, the range is described as 'trailer trash chic meets Lana Del-Rey'. The online boutique sells a range of clothing and accessories that have a true vintage feel to them.

This flower crown will definitely be coming to festivals with me next summer!

Recently my love for jewellery has grown as all I’ve been purchasing is chunky oversized necklaces and stacking rings!

These new buys from Bing Bang NYC caught my eye on instagram before I began exploring the website, they are delicate but once you begin stacking them you can create endless looks and styles!

Bing Bang NYC was founded by Anna Sheffield a New York based designer, who specialises in engagement and wedding rings that offer an alternative to classic designs by using inverted-set diamonds and solid gold gemstones.
